Difference between the different Number Plates on different Vehicles
Generally, the white-colored Number plates are common on the vehicles running on the road. Where sometimes we see some vehicles having different colored Numb plates. Well, there are some reasons and purposes behind each color.
White Number Plate
The white Number plates signify personal vehicles or we can say non-commercial vehicles. Such number plates are completely white with the black-colored font used to write the number on the plate. The vehicles with white-colored number plates cannot be used for commercial purposes. And the driver must have a driving license.
Yellow Number Plate
The yellow Number plates signify commercial vehicles such as Taxis, Trucks, Rickshaws, etc. Such number plates are completely yellow with the black-colored font used to write the number on the plate. The vehicles with yellow number plates can be used for any commercial purposes. And the driver must have a driving license.
Green Number Plate
The Green Number plates signify Electric vehicles. Such number plates are completely green with the white-colored font used to write the number on the plate. The vehicles with green-colored number plates are used for personal purposes.
Blue Number Plate
The Blue Number plates signify vehicles from UN Mission or Foreign embassy. Such number plates are completely blue with the white-colored font used to write the number on the plate. The vehicles with blue-colored number plates have a symbol showing “/|” just before the first letter of the number.
Black Number Plate
The black Number plates signify vehicles from popular and royal hotels used as transport of a VIP. Such number plates are completely black with the yellow-colored font used to write the number on the plate. Usually, the vehicles with black number plates attribute to expensive cars. And the driver must have a driving license.
Red Number Plate
The red Number plates signify either company purpose or governor’s transport purpose vehicles. Such number plates are completely red in the background but have two different font colors for different purposes.
- Golden-colored font used to write the number on the plate. Such vehicles are used by the Governor or President as their transport.
- On the other side, White-colored font used to write the number on the plate. Such vehicles are designed for testing purposes by the companies.
