Windows 11 | New Features | How to Upgrade | Price
Microsoft is about to launch Windows 11 for personal computer users very soon. The company will make the announcement of its launch at an event on June 24. As we all know, Windows 10 was launched in 2015 i.e. five years ago and since then it is running with very high and good performance. But now the company is all set to launch the brand new Windows 11. Satya Nadella, ‘CEO of Microsoft‘ and Panos Panay, ‘Chief Product Officer, will present the new updates from the Company and the Windows as well at the event. The company has also sent media invites for this event. The event will be held on June 24 sharp at 11:00am (ET), i.e. 8:30pm (IST). The company’s CEO Satya Nadella said at the Build Conference event that the biggest update of the decade is coming to the Windows operating system.
Windows 11 Leak suggests new features and a refined look
Now, let’s come to the images and videos of the Windows 11 leak. Windows 11 upgrade comes with quite a few visual changes. For instance, the new iconic Start Menu is redesigned as a box that appears in the screen’s centre, with recent app tiles on the top and a general setting at the bottom. Microsoft might remove live tiles from the Start menu. However, if a user wishes to align the taskbar icons to the left, it can be done. Secondly, the alignment of app icons on the taskbar is now in the centre (which looks like macOS). Another notable change is a widget icon on the taskbar.
Multi-app support through snap features
The new Windows 11 upgrade has the ability to snap an application window with the maximize button, while Windows 10 also has such features. The new method appears to be more efficient and sophisticated, using which apps can be arranged in a systematic order on the desktop if need be. The new Microsoft Store, which is supposed to “unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators” is not revealed yet. A Windows 11 Leaked ISO file was also reported to be available for download. However, it is not verified. And we strongly suggest you do not download it.

How to install Windows 11 or will it cost us?
It is not exactly true that Windows 11 will be free as an operating system for everyone. If you gonna buy a new laptop, desktop or convertible PC, you’d be paying for the Windows 11 cost (whatever that may be finally decided) within the price tag. If you assemble your own PCs, you’d be buying Windows 11 licenses too, again at the price that is finally decided for Windows 11. As a reference, Windows 10 is currently available in three variants i.e. Windows 10 Home, which most of us use is priced at Rs 10,379 for a single PC license, the Windows 10 Pro costs Rs 16,515 and Windows 10 Pro for Workstations has a sticker price of Rs 22,799. Microsoft still considers the Windows revenue as an important entry on the balance sheets, and that’s the reason why they wouldn’t want to risk overdoing it with paid upgrades.
And if the new Windows 11 will be free to all genuine users, Then we might upgrade it just like we did with Windows 10 in 2015. But if it wouldn’t be free then it could charge us as per the terms that Microsoft will release.
